Gourd vessel. Gourd with the neck mostly cut off, with applied brass and copper wire ornament in elongated lozenges arranged as two crosses spaced with other lozenges. Rich brown patina. The ornament is similar to that of the snuff-boxes JL-G-1 to 15, and this may have been intended as a snuffbox.
