Wooden snake. Carved from a naturally twisting piece of wood, well polished on the underside, with a thin metal strip wound round the tail end. The
back is decorated with strings of glass seed beads pressed into beeswax applied in patches along the top. The head and neck are carved, and there are blue bead eyes. Bead colours are white, green, red,
yellow, pale blue.
